About Us & Our Store

Our store is located in lovely Galway, a beautiful seaside City on the west coast of Ireland. We opened in the spring of 2011, in the midst of a recession and within a couple of years Suit Republic was established as the leading suit specialists in Ireland.

In 2013 we were delighted to announce our partnership with Connacht Rugby as their official suit supplier until 2016. Continuing to support local sporting groups, in 2016 we announced a partnership with Galway United Football Club's as their official outfitter until 2018.

In 2018, along with our shirt range the 'Twelve Pins', named after our regional mountain range, we released our own suit range the 'Writer's Collection', as a nod to our literary heritage which boasts the finest writers this wonderful earth has ever produced.

We continue to practice our ethos, that our product quality and our customer service is of the utmost importance. Our suit styles range from basic everyday work-wear to formal-wear for weddings, communions, confirmations, debs and funerals. With up to 50 different styles of 2 and 3-piece suits, to match all ages, shapes and sizes (from 1 year and up to size 64), it’s safe to say we cater for everyone.
For customers' convenience we also provide an in-store tailoring service.
This removes the hassle of dealing with a third party to fine-tune your new outfit. Visit our store in Liosban, just off the Tuam Road in Galway City.
